sixties to the nineties
|
|
|
|
The first generation of electrical engines replaced TGOJ:s steam
engines in the late fifties.
Originally thay were painted in a green and yellow scheme. later in
the sixties the engines were repainted in this orange livery.

Modern
commuter trains |
|
The lines
in the Bergslagen Region is mainly operated by a couple of regional
cooperations of train, bus and underground companies from thr
region.
Tim - Traffic in Mälardalen which operates the lines around lake
Mälaren
Tåg i Bergslagen - Trains i Bergslagen which operates the lines
north of lake Mälaren
Both cooperations uses a couple of different operators for the
commuter trains, mainly maintained with Regina trains as on the
pictures of the models below.

|
|
|
The yellow train on the picture below is a guest and comes from
another operator, Västtrafik which operates the lines at the

British
Rail - rare foreign guests |
|
|
On this
layout there is even a few engines and coaches representing the
magic world of British trains. much of my inspiration comes
from Britain. From books and magazines and a couple of pack packing
sessions with the "Britrail pass" in the early eighties.
Mainly in Wales and Scotland. The prototypes for the engines are
based in the Scottish region.
